Ganga Helipad

The Ganga Helipad which is situated in the Southern State called Tamil Nadu. This helipad is a private helipad and is the only one in India owned by a Private Hospital to operate Air Ambulance Service. This helipad is a DGCA approved and has all the infrastructure for an helicopter to park at night. This helipad has excellent proximity to various important places of tourism like Isha Yoga, The Nilgiris (Ooty), Thanjavore to name a few in Tamil Nadu and Cochin, Trivandrum, Calicut and also access to various resorts and Ayurvedic Hospitals in Kerela State.

This helipad can be used all round the year due to the moderate weather and wind pattern present in this area. This helipad has god windsock to show the wind direction to facilitate the pilot to land at this helipad safely.

This helipad also has Control Room, a lobby, Pilot rest room and also Ground Equipment Storage room. This is helipad also has a Kirloskar Generator which is suffice to cater to the normal needs and also for emergency needs to run the fire motor in case of normal power failure.

One side of the Coimbatore city is catered by the airport and the other side of the Coimbatore has this helipad so it as good has two places the helicopter can land based on the area you wanted to visit.

This helipad was constructed with passion and love to serve the people by flying air ambulance to cater to any medical emergency in the South.

This helipad also has a parking bay where the helicopter after landing can be towed to the parking bay and can give an option for the 2nd one to this helipad.
